Fonderie d’Art
My sculptures are all cast in bronze in France.
A lost-wax bronze print results in exceptional quality and requires multi stages work (molding, wax, wax control, casting, chasing and patina) by a highly qualified team.
A bronze is said to be “original”, that is to say “authentic” if it is drawn from an original work made of plaster, clay or wax by the artist and under his direct or Its beneficiaries. The prints must be numbered on the bronze, next to the signature of the artist and the stamp of the founder. In France the prints must not exceed 8 copies, with an additional 4 copies in artist proofs numbered I to IV and annotated EA. A total of 12. When all the bronze prints have been cast, the mold is destroyed.
