Animal art: beautiful finery at “L’Art Ancien”

A fine exhibition of animal art has just opened at the Orléans gallery “L’Art Ancien”. Works by renowned painters and sculptors are on display for your viewing pleasure.

High-quality creations
Here, in this exhibition conceived by gallery owner Philippe Vasseur, we can only celebrate the shimmering colors that Florence Dias Looten displays in her canvases. Also worth seeing are his engravings . A great success.

Refinement and nobility
There’s also plenty of room for sculpture, with pieces by Pascale Benéteau. Delightful bronzes that you can’t help but love to hold in your hands. Here we have Clovis, Tuba, Roudoudou and Tembo. Each work is precious, and the patina offers a jubilation of nuances. Powerful yet subtle, the evocation of imaginary animals is a noble and fertile inspiration for us to discover. Fabien Garcin’s bronze egret opens its wings wide to welcome the sky. And then there’s the strange dialogue between Gilles Delpy’s meerkat and giraffe Hortense.

Beautiful finesse
Also at the heart of this remarkable exhibition are Charlotte Galloux’s ink drawings, in which the delicacy of a tiger in the midst of a swarm of butterflies and birds in an Amazonian forest emerges with astonishing gentleness.
Impossible to list them all, but let us salute the beauty of these horses galloping out of the water, painted by Yong-Man Kwon. Featured in “L’Art Ancien” showcase, this painting is an invitation to discover an exhibition of the highest quality.
