FINALLY GIVERNY HAS ITS LOGO…… A “READABLE AND ORIGINAL” LOGO
“We finally had to make a choice: readability then originality” concludes the mayor. So it was the logo of Pascale Benéteau who was selected.
“I was invited to propose a project. I took a brush and some ink, and spontaneously just wrote “Giverny”. For me the name Giverny represents Impressionism, and ink is Japanese inspiration. It is a link between the two cultures that I found interesting. “This logo is a continuity of my work, always purified” explains Pascale Benéteau, the Giverny’s artist who created the logo.
The municipality, in thanks to the artist made her “citizen of honor” of the municipality of Giverny.
